 Educational TripsThe school seeks to make pupils actively aware of their environment and to use the opportunities offered by its location to enhance their education. Educational excursions provide the opportunity to learn more about the world around us and provide pupils with the opportunity to develop their group and social skills in different settings. All pupils including those in the Foudation Stage, Key Stage 1 and 2 go on local excursions for the day, usually relating to an aspect of the curriculum being covered. The school offers additional optional opportunities such as ski breaks for the older children. From Year 6 upwards we offer and encourage all students to take part in Residential Educational Trips.
In the past we have organized Skiing trips in the Alps, kayaking and Outdoor Education in the Ardeche as well as cultural trips to Paris and Nizhny. We aim to broaden our minds and understanding of the world by visiting places within and beyond Russia. |
