Here at ISM we are lucky to have access to a full golf programme. Our children are introduced to the sport at the early age of 5 and continue to play all the way up to year 9; by then we would hope to have moulded many great players. 

 

Early on in the programme children are introduced to the golf stance, an appropriate grip and a basic swing pattern. As they develop and become more confident, children are able to access a 4 hole par 3 course on a weekly basis.

 

In addition on the school campus we are incredibly fortunate to have access to a wide range of golfing equipment. Children of all ages can play on the driving range, practise their putting on the 8 hole putting green, chip on to the 8ft velcro target or chip in to the multicoloured baskets.

 

During terms 1 and 3 whilst the weather is in our favour we are able to run a variety of competitions. These include The ISM Open for advanced golfers, The Mini Open for the lower school and The Family Cup where child and parent team up to compete against each other.

 

Golf is very popular amongst all the pupils here at ISM. We are sure many will be making business deals on the golf course in the future.
